Raccoon Hill and Limestone Spring Trail

Directions:

There is a parking area on US 44 not far north of Cobble Road. There is a shorter way up to Raccoon Hill: take Sugar Hill Road (off of Housatonic River Road just north of Falls Village) to its end.

Trails:

The long way to Raccoon Hill is from Rt. 44 over the Wetauwanchu Mountain. The trail heads largely southeast.

The shorter route is generally northwest from the turn-around at the end of Sugar Hill Road, take the Appalachian Trail (this section once known as the Limestone Spring Trail).
