Pleasure Beach

Bridgeport/Stratford, Fairfield County, Connecticut

09/10/2005.  This "park" in Bridgeport Harbor is not accessible.  We tried to cross over the bridge to the island but it is closed off with No Trespassing signs.  Dr. Patrick L. Cooney.

You can walk here at low tide from Long Beach in Stratford. I have not done it myself, so I can't vouch for it.

I-95 to Exit 30. South on Rt. 113 toward the airport and keep going. The sign may mysteriously say that this is Rt. 113 North. How a road
can run north if it's going south is beyond me. Right on Oak Bluff Ave. Right into the park. You need a parking sticker or pay a fee in season. No problem in off season.
