Directions:

US 84 east; exit 5 for Route 39 north; head from Danbury into New Fairfield; turn right onto Gillotti Road.  In a short drive, turn left onto Ball Pond Road East. Drive down the road to where #47 would be and park.

Weldon Woods Road is a little farther down Ball Pond Road East on the right.  Make the turn and park along the road on the left.  The land is on the right.  No trails.

For Brook Wood Road, drive farther down Weldon Woods Road and turn left onto Brook Wood Road.  The piece of land is on the right across from houses #3 and #5.  No trails.   

History:

Over ten acres in 3 parcels donated by the developer. The two larger parcels were designated Open Space forestland with the smaller, one of the two, surrounding Ball Pond Brook. The smallest parcel is on Ball Pond and, although it is deeded with some community access rights, it will be kept as a buffer zone for lake protection.
