Directions:
US 95 north to Exit 17; turn left onto Route 136 (Saugatuck Avenue); head under US 95 and in a short distance turn right onto Riverside Avenue; turn left to go over the bridge spanning the Saugatuck River; on Compo Road South head south to a right turn onto Julian Brodie Road; follow it to the public parking lot area. Park. The parking lot is adjacent to the coastal shore.
Facilities:
18 Hole golf course, 9 tennis courts, 1 paddle tennis court, Evan Harding Point Picnic Area, 3 swimming pools, bathhouse with lockers, playscape, pavilion, marina (boat Assignment or Ramp Permit Required), concession stand.
Trails:
11/05/2005. On a warm, beautiful day (very much above the usual seasonal temperature, Rosemary Cooney, Sarah-David Rosenbaum, dog Sonar and I toured the very small rocky, shelly beach. This is primarily golf course, but there is shoreline along the Long Island Sound and a small woods by the parking lot. We walked in the woods a bit and also along the shoreline, out and back. This is a big park and there is vegetation along Herbert Baldwin Road (along Grays Creek) on the way out of the park. Dr. Patrick L. Cooney
