US-95 north to exit 7; turn right onto Greenwich Avenue; quickly turn left onto Pulaski Street;  turn right onto Washington Boulevard heading south; continue straight onto Dyke Lane; the entrance gate to the park is on the right, dwarfed by the huge Putney-Bowes building just to the left.

10/10/2005.  On a cool, cloudy day, Ceferino Santana, dog Sonar and I did some botanizing in Stamford.  It was Columbus Day and maybe that is the reason for the park gate being shut and the sign saying "Park Closed".  Dr. Patrick L. Cooney.
