Directions:

The Naromi Land Trust trail booklets says the entrance for the 8 acre parcel  is off Church Road at the Old Pasture, 2.7 miles in from Route 39 north.  But 2.7 miles up Church Road puts the person into New Milford, not Sherman.  About a mile up from Route 39 on Church Road, there is a trail sign on the right by a step-ladder built over the barbed-wire fence.  (Parking would be difficult to come by in this section.)  Try hiking up from the Brookland Preserve, only 0.3 of a mile north on Church Road.

Trail:

The trail starts off Church Road and heads east to Naromi Brook situated in a hemlock gorge. At the edge, the trail turns right (south) to head into the Babbling Brooks Preserve on the Babbling Brooks Trail.  

Pick up a map of many of the Naromi Trust lands on the second floor of the Old Store Museum and Gift Shop at the intersection of Route 37 and Saw Mill Road in Sherman Center.
