Iron Bridge north
Salisbury, Litchfield County, Connecticut

Trails:

8/06/2005.  This was the afternoon of our second day of a three day vacation in the town of Salisbury.  We had visited the Falls Village Canoe Access on the Housatonic River and now we picked up the Appalachian Trail to visit the river vegetation on the north side of Iron bridge.  There is a series of small falls here.  The water goes over a series of ledges with the last ledge being the highest (five feet or so I guess).  The group had fun with the dog and the water while I walked up and down looking at the vegetation (with some help from my wife).

We were amazed that we were the only ones by these small, but pretty, falls.  Dr. Patrick L. Cooney.
