Housatonic Riverwalk

History:

The broad AT path is an old farming road.

Trails:

The trail goes 4.8 miles from River Road in North Kent to River Road in Cornwall Bridge.  (It takes about 2.5 hours.)
Camping: is available at Stewart Hollow Brook Shelter and Campsite or Stony Brook Campsite

The Housatonic "river walk" is probably the longest flat section anywhere on the AT between Georgia and Maine.
