Trails

7/21/2005.  On a warm early morning, dog Sonar and I visited this small park along the shore of Ball Pond.  The park is partly manicured, partly wild and partly run over by invasive species.  (Someone should come in and cut back, if not eliminate, the Asiatic bittersweet and multiflora rose.  For such a small place there is a lot of intertwining trails (and even one small section of boardwalk).  The pond is very build up, with public space very limited.  On the other side of the pond they have a very small sandy public beach.    I enjoyed the preserve even though it did not take long to walk the trails.  Dr. Patrick L. Cooney.
