Park on Falls Mountain Road

Amesville, town of Salisbury, Litchfield County, Connecticut

There is no sign here indicating that this is a park, even though it is so marked on the Rand McNally detailed map of the area (Fairfield, Litchfield & New Haven Counties). 

Directions:

From Lakeville heading to Salisbury center on Route 44, turn right onto Salmon Kill Road; at the intersection with Brinton Road, turn left onto that road; at the T-intersection turn left onto Dugway Road; near Iron Bridge on the right, turn left onto Falls Mountain Road; a short distance from the dead-end, on the left is an area of woods; one can park by the two giant logs along the road in front of a small field.
