Dark Hollow Road property

Dark Hollow Road, Litchfield County, Connecticut

123 acres

Directions:

From Salisbury center, Route 44,  take Salmon Kill Road southeast, cross over Factory Brook and turn right onto the dirt Dark Hollow Road.  In a short distance, there is a sign on the right saying "Lower Trail" and "Salisbury Association Land Trust".  A little farther down Dark Hollow Road on the left is a sign saying "Summit Trail".  On the other side, right side, of the road, is, if I remember right, a sign for the Upper Trail.

Jim Dresser of the Salisbury Land Trust helped raise money for the purchase of the Dark Hollow Road property by the Salisbury Land Trust.

The trails are open for hiking and cross-country skiing, and horseback riding.
