Booth Hill Greenbelt
Trumbull, Fairfield County, Connecticut
70 acres
Geology/Topography:
Booth Hill Brook runs through the "park".
Trails:
9/26/2005. On an overcast day due to the influence of Hurricane Rita, Cefe Santana, dog Sonar and I stopped at quite a few places to see if we could find a trail. But we found nothing. No signs, no Trumbull Land Trust insignia, no trails. I guess this is another area they want left as just plain open space. Dr. Patrick L. Cooney.
Note from Tom Ebersold, AMC Hike Leader:
This was a subdivision set aside. When the area was developed, instead of building on acre lots, people built on 0.2 acre lots with the rest being open space. As far as I know there are no trails and no plans to have trails.
Based on a look at my Hagstrom map of Fairfield County, page 13, section 24,
V: I would try accessing it from Strobel Road. You would probably have to park
at Trumbull High School or Shelter Rock Road and walk down the road.
