Proposal for a New French Uniform

Left the new proposed uniforms and right the old French uniform

Color photos of the 1911 proposal for new French army uniforms.

 

Note the uniform color : it is very similar to German field-gray.

Ultimately this proposal was not accepted and the French army went to war in 1914 in the traditional red and blue uniform.
