'der Weltkrieg 1914'

a Modest Serial History Magazine

Not to be confused with a similar cheaply published serial history magazine called 'Der Weltkrieg 1914', this magazine was more correctly titled : 'der Weltkrieg 1914 : Darstellung der bedeutendsten Ereignisse in Wort und Bild' (The World War of 1914 - an account of the most important events in text and image).

However learned and important the title sounded, the actual magazine was a very cheaply printed publication with very little illustrative material at all, the main attraction being a narrative written by Emil Ferdinand Malkowsky.
