'Larousse Mensuel' (Larousse Monthly) was a monthly general knowledge magazine published by the reknowned publishing house of Larousse, famous for its encyclopedias and other popular scientific and technogical publications as well as for its literary editions. During the war years, this monthly supplement to the famed encyclopedia, contained a large amount of items devoted to the war in one manner or another, though usually in regards to a scientific or technological aspect. In addition to the normal contents, a small 'Bulletin de Guerre' was added with gave a summery of events and communiqués, along with several choice cartoons and political caricatures.
