1963 view of the Yankee Building
Ever since Yankee FM ceased operations in 1948,
 the building served as an advantageous relay location 
for numerous wireless communication vendors.
Transmissions cover the spectrum  from
audio, data and video using analog and/or digital.

After more than a 50 years absence, FM broadcasting 
returned to the historic Yankee Building, as WPKQ.

Yankee was spared from the fire on the mountain.
