T-80
Towards latter 1943, a further light tank was built, beeing almost identical to the T-70M, but carried a heavier turret and thicker armour up to 50 mm. This tank was to be known as the T-80. A commanders cupola was added, and an internal mantlet was employed to improve fighting efficiency. The T-80 was only used as a recon tank, and was never to be used on any larger scale. A total of 75 T-80 tanks were manufactured.
