Sir William Hickie, at one time Divisional Commander, is in the foreground.
On his right is General Bryan Mahon. General Molitor, representing King Albert,
King of the Belgians, is the officer with the sash. Also present was his compatriot
General Borremans and the British Ambassador, George Graham. Count O'Kelly
represented the government of the Irish Free State.



On 11th November 2001, the people of Wijtschate remembered the 75th anniversary of the memorial.
