A word from Valeriy Potapov, director of the RMZ:

To prevent any misunderstands, I have to to say I don't get any money contribution from David. It is totally my own idea to publish his price list here. Why? Because I respect his work. I didn't read all his books and studies but what I've read was enough to make a conclusion: his work is one of the best and comprehensive I've ever read. His work is an excellent example of how the history should be studied. This is especially amazing since David is not Russian, he lives outside Russia, but anyway, his books are based on Soviet archival sources.
