The members of the National Sonar Association will gather in Seattle, Washington for their 15th Annual Reunion beginning on August 14, 1997 and ending on August 16, 1997. The association's membership is diverse, with many retired Sonar Tech's of surface and submarine warfare as well as many who worked in the rate during their time but didn't stay long enough to retire. We have veterans of WWII, Korea and Vietnam. Our membership includes active sonar tech's. It is a great group of people and much of the time, our reunions are spent telling our favorite sea stories and enjoying the company of old friends and making new ones. We have a little golf tourney and there will be a tour of Seattle by bus. There's a barbecue on Friday night and a banquet on Saturday night with a featured speaker along with dancing and singing to the tunes of a Karaoke DJ. It will be a great time! Our dues are $20 annually which includes 6 issues of the "PING JOCKEY", our own well written and informative newsletter.
