I would like to introduce myself. My name is Jack Atkinson and I'm new to the pc world and to DOL. I spent 20 years in the Navy. I started out as an old 5"38 Gunner's Mate and finished my career as an ASROC Gunner's Mate. During my career I served aboard the USS Richard E. Byrd DDG-23 (1975-1980) and USS Barney DDG-6 (1980-1982). GMGSN Jack Atkinson studies "text" manuals. Attachments will not do. Unless you state otherwise, it will be assumed you'd like to have any e-mails sent to this site posted with the ship's page. Your correspondence may be edited slightly. Graphics: Due to the limited disk space, we will have to limit your pictures to one. You are also encouraged to send links to sites that may have additional photos or information.
