Dear Sir

The USS Drexler has a home page dedicated to the memory of all who served aboard her for her short life. I am the granddaughter of a survivor that is trying to show the world what that ship meant for my grandfather. The men of the Drexler are very special people who deserve to be commended and seem to be forgotten by history. The Drexler was in service a short time before she was attacked and sunk. Luckily my grandfather, a seaman first class stationed at the first gun mount survived. As I honor what those men did, so I honor you for what you are doing. May those who tell the tales tell them well.

Sincerely,
Lori Dione Ryland
