Fastest can in fleet 1970-71. After being on gun line then in Indian
Ocean with Enterprise, going back to Subic, all other escorts breaking
down, Enterprise skipper radioed our's, can't wait for you, see you in
Subic.He read it to entire ship- we had great BT's and MM's, steamed
28-33 kts and beat Enterprise to liberty call. I only remember 2-3
bells. Will try to find ship cruise book.
