Date: Wed, 12 Mar 1997 18:19:07 -0500 My father was a plankowner on the Allen M. Sumner... I've enclosed two images - One of the Sumner just after a shake down (sorry but you'll have to trim it) and the other of my father zero-ing in a 20mm weapon. I also have a story that was published many years ago of the Battle of Ormac Bay, in which the Sumner, Cooper, and Moale entered Omarc Bay, P.I. to assault Japanese Transports and docks. The Cooper was sunk in that action. Please let me know if you'd like me to e-mail it to you.....
