My wife and I are in a state of transition between the home we just sold and a new one we are having built in South Carolina. I have quite a few 35 mm slides from my Navy days stored away at the moment. Once we get settled later this year I will dig through them and see what I can find to contribute. I have no more information after that which may imply that she still exists. The Gurke was sold to Greece and was decommissioned just a few weeks ago after being in service 53 years. I am building some less formal pages where people can contribute whatever material they want, memories, documents or photos, on any destroyer. let me know if you are interested.
