Port Huron Loop:

Head east from Michigan 13 (Dixie Highway East) in Bay City, MI to Michigan 25 in Bay Port, MI
Turn right on Michigan 142 and head east to Harbor Beach, MI
Turn right and head south on Michigan 25 to Marysville, MI
Continue along Gratiot Ave southwesterly to Muttonville, MI, roughly parallelling I-94
Continue on Gratiot Ave (Michigan 19) to the Chesterfield, MI area.
Continue on Gratiot Ave (Michigan 3) to Michigan 1 (Dixie Highway East) in Detroit, MI

Flint Bypass Loop:

Follow Michigan 15 from Michigan 13 (Dixie Highway East) in Bay City, MI to US 24 (Dixie Highway East) northwest of Pontiac, MI

Bear right off US 441 (Dixie Highway West) on to Florida 200 from Ocala, FL and head south westerly to Jct CR 434
Bear right on CR 434 and head west to Dunellon, FL
Turn left and head south on US 41 to Brooksville, FL
Turn right and head west on Florida 50 to Weekiwachee, FL
Turn left on US 19 and head south to Spring Hill, FL
Turn right on to County 595 (Osowaw Blvd) and head south to Aripeka, FL
South of Aripeka, bear right onto Old Dixie Highway, heading south to Hudson, FL
Hudson's main street was Dixie Highway, laid out in 1915. It was a gravelly dirt road that wound through the places in Pasco where people actually lived. Hence the strange course it follows today. We know this street as 595 on the modern map, but in real life, it enters the county north in Aripeka, winds through Hudson as Old Dixie Hwy., connects with US 19 at the Chevron at Sea Ranch, branches off US 19 in Port Richey as Grand Blvd., winds down the Cotee River, and bends west to Bailey's Bluff in Holiday, from which it becomes Alt. 19 (Pinellas Ave.) in Tarpon Springs. Back in 1915 Dixie Hwy. was the only road, and was built for locals not for high speed traffic. Adding a little mileage was no problem if there were some houses on the way. People seemed to be not in as much of a hurry back then. Yet, driving on it with a car was always an issue. "If you got 20 miles with no strut or tire problems you were lucky."
Join US 19 in Hudson and head south to Port Richey, FL
Bear left on to CR 595 (Grand Boulevard) and head south to Elfers, FL
Continue on CR 595 (Old Dixie Highway) to Holiday, FL
Join US 19 in Holiday and head south
Bear right on Alt US 19 and head south to St. Petersburg, FL
Continue east on Florida 595

Turn right on to Florida 589 and head south

In downtown, turn left on Nebraska Ave

Head east along US 92 to the Hillsborough - Polk county line
Turn right on to County Line Rd
Turn left on to CR 542 (Old Tampa Highway)
Continue into Lakeland, FL on Olive St
Turn left at Central Ave
Bear right on to Main St and head east to Carter's Corner, FL
Turn left on to Old Dixie Highway and head north to Fussel's Corner, FL
Turn right with Old Dixie Highway and head east to Auburndale, FL
Turn right on Ramsgate Rd
Turn left on Pilaklakaha Ave
Bear left on W. Park St. and continue northeast as it becomes Stadium Rd, then Lake Alfred Rd, and finally Pierce St into Lake Alfred, FL
Turn left on to US 17
Bear right on Ramona Ave
Turn left on Lee - Jackson Rd / Experimental Station Rd
Turn right on Old Dixie Highway head east to Haines City
Turn right on Old Dixie Highway and return to US 17
OR - There is a very rough dirt path under US 27 that connects the spur Lee-Jackson Highway (Dixie Highway) on the west side of the highway to the spur Lee-Jackson Highway (Dixie Highway) on the east side. This is what remains of the 'original' path, but is not recommended for most vehicles.
Turn left on to US 17, connecting to US 27 and Dixie Highway West in Haines City
