Capital Highway Route

This route is described in the AAA book as going from "Topeka, Kansas, to Tulsa, Oklahoma; St Louis, Missouri, to Kansas City, Missouri; and Omaha, Nebraska, to Julian, Nebraska." I can't find any other documentation, and can't tell if it's supposed to be one route or three. Assistance will be appreciated.
