READING COMPANY

This page will cover the suburban commuter lines of the former Reading Company radiating out of Philadelphia.  Operated today by Septa, most of these pictures date from the late 1970's to 1980's.  Until Septa built the center city tunnel connecting the former Reading lines and the former Pennsylvania lines together, all passenger trains operated out of Reading Terminal on Broad St.  Today the terminal serves as a market place.
