Middlesex County Routes Middlesex County goes from 601 to 622 and 651 to 699, with some missing. For the most part odd go N-S and even go E-W. Most routes under 650 are signed with a standard pentagon; 650 and over are only signed on street signs hanging at the traffic lights. 601 Vail Av and 7th St south of Dunellen.

It was 514 SPUR; Ray Martin and Leo Auray said that 622 signs were posted in late March or early April 2000. It was also temporarily signed NJ 18 from NJ 18's current north end to 607 (Lincoln Blvd); it was never state maintained though. Update 5-16-00 by Joseph Chow: CR 622 is now signed on NJ 18, but it is still signed CR 514 SPUR on NJ 27.
