Thanks to Dave Schul for the map scan of the 1993 or 94 RMcN Orlando blowup. Note that it erroneously showed the Central Connector as built.
Back to FL exit lists.
The Central Connector (no number ever assigned?) would have paralleled FL 527 (Orange Ave) from at least TOLL 528 to Orlando. The road was killed due to neighborhood opposition. Here I show the final plans, and comment about earlier alternatives. I found the plans in the Orlando Central Library on Central Blvd between the 2 halves of FL 527.

In the final plans, NB would go under FL 482 and TOLL 528 and SB would go over. This would be on the west side of the RR tracks. If the Connector was extended south, it would come off the left of the exit to TOLL 528 WB and merge into the right of the ramp from TOLL 528 EB.
One simple variant would merge the TOLL 528 WB exit into the left of the combined TOLL 528 EB exit/Connector NB. Both directions would go under FL 482.
Another would have both ramps over TOLL 528 but the extended Connector under, and everything under FL 482 with NO interchange. The EB TOLL 528 exit would go over the entrance.
Another possibility was to take the N-E ramps over FL 482 AND FL 527 near their intersection and take them to TOLL 528 east of the exit to Jetport Dr. These ramps would come into the left of the Connector. The W-N ramps would be standard stack ramps with the mainline extended under TOLL 528. FL 482 would have a half diamond before the N-E ramps connect.
A similar one is shown without a Connector extension. The W-N ramp would go under TOLL 528 and both W-N ramps under FL 482 with no connection there. Instead the connection would be via a Y off the N-E ramps with a connector to FL 482.
The possibility would take the Connector over FL 527 north of FL 482. The connection to FL 482 would be via a Y connecting to FL 527 across from Office Ct. South of there at TOLL 528 is a half stack with the Connector continuing.

SPUI

This would be a slightly weird SPUI, with 2 Ys to a connector road that crosses Oak Ridge. Alternates were a normal SPUI and a diamond.
Next in some plans was an interchange at Holden Ave (realigned to meet Gatlin Ave). This was removed in the final plans. The alternatives were a SPUI or a SW extended trumpet.

There would be a Y connecting to Michigan St. From there to just past Kaley Ave the Connector would be elevated over Division Ave. Then it would curve to the west a bit, parallel I-4, and merge back into Division Ave before Gore St.
Another possibility was a diamond at Michigan St, with it coming down to ground level past that. It would either be 4 lane up Division Ave or a 1-way pair on Division Ave and Atlanta Ave, coming together north of Columbia St.
Another plan had a half diamond at Michigan St, and then the Connector crossed to the west side of Division Ave with a direct exit NB to Division Ave NB. It would go over Kaley Ave and then come back into Division Ave south of Gore St. The cut-off part of Division Ave would curve into Columbia St.
One weird thing is that none of these plans had a direct connection to I-4. I suppose this is because it would overload I-4. One plan however, which was for improvements to I-4, had it coming into I-4 south of Michigan St, with C/D roads to TOLL 408. The I-4/Michigan St interchange was removed, and so was Gore St.
