You can see the chain support. Behind the trestle, there is a space of 18" which was made as a yard. This is where we stored all the rolling stock, after a session, with enough space, when we raised it, the trestle ( I made gluing 1 little piece at a time) was able to fold in as well. The working area was 3 1/2 X 15'. When the board was closed, needless to say that all the wiring was showing, We backed it with a full length pegboard. The other half of this, is coming. Very busy layout. This was an industrial area. Behind the engine house, you can see the top of a workable coaling station. In the left hand corner you can see the top of a silo. Under the chain is a lumber yard. Next to & behind it, was a working sawmill, & in front a sawdust storage building, with a link to the saw mill, to suck up the sawdust. I don't seem to leave much room for roads.
