Floating in the Göteborg harbor, the Sölve is undergoing restoration by the Göteborg Maritima Centrum in Sweden. Built in 1875, this low freeboard coastal defence monitor is one of the last of her kind still afloat. Interestingly, the monitor's turret did not revolve. The main gun in the turret was aimed by positioning the ship itself.
