The preserved RamschipSchorpioen (ram ship Scorpion) is undergoing restoration at the Dutch Naval Museum in Den Helder, the Netherlands. The Museum's webmaster, Leon Homburg, has graciously put up a page regarding the renovation of the Schorpioen in English. This site includes some outstanding photographs of the Schorpioen in service as well as her being currently in dry dock (with an excellent view of her ram) and an inside photograph of the muzzle-loaders in her turret. Many thanks to Leon for his assistance in providing views of this historic ship over the Internet.
