The Cavalcade of America A Program Log October 1994 By Art Chimes This is an abbreviated version of the log I published in hard copy in 1986 (revised 1991). The information has been condensed to one line per program. The format is as follows: Cols. 00-02 Program sequence number Col. 03 blank Cols. 04-11 Program date in format MM/DD/YY Col. 12 blank Cols. 13-79 Program title, principal performer or other relevant information as space permits. I welcome your comments: art_chimes@neb.voa.gov or P.O. Box 23075, Washington, DC 20026-3075 In this and other series there is often confusion about the "official" title. When possible, I use the title that appears on the title page of the script, and a dollar sign ($) after the title signifies that it has been confirmed against the script. (Some volumes of bound scripts are located in the Library of Congress; a complete set is in the Hagley Museum and Library in Wilmington, Delaware.) The title as announced in the program itself is sometimes different from the script title. After the title, a hyphen (-) introduces the subject of the program (when available), and an equals sign (=) introduces the featured performer(s).
