South Jersey Gallery
I am always looking for good trains & train spots.  NJT's Atlantic City Line features the 2nd highest speeds on the system!  Also, Coal trains run through Southern Jersey on Conrail's Beesley's Point Line.

NJT GP40PH-2B 4212 crosses Pomona Road with a Philadelphia-bound train in February 2001.  The motive power for this line is NJT's various GP40s.  The locomotives are usually on the lead on westbound moves and Cab Cars on eastbound.
The Atlnatic City Line is a single track line with several sidings.  This former PRSL main line was double-tracked, as you can see in the wide right-of-way.  The picture has the same train from above.  A typical consist is three coaches.
In the same location, a few minutes later, an Atlantic City bound train passes.
A Beesley's Point train running light passes through Folsom in February 2001.
Depsite the headlights being on the NS unit, the locomotive is trailing as the units make their way through Atlantic County.
PRR lettered SD60I (ex-Conrail) crosses 6th Road in Buena Vista.  Speed restriction on the Beesley Point line is 25 m.p.h.
Here is NS C40-9W 9153 as it crosses the same road.
