Wooster Memorial Grove
Route 52, Walden, Orange County, New York

Directions:

US 87 north to the exit for Route 17; drive 3.4 miles on Route 17 north and take the exit for Route 208; head north on Route 208 for about 18 miles or so and turn right onto Route 52 east; turn right into the entrance for the Wooster Memorial Grove. 

Or:

Taconic State Parkway to US 84 west; drive a little more than 24 miles and take the exit for Route 208; head north on Route 208 and turn turn right onto Route 52 east; in a short distance turn right into the entrance for the Wooster Memorial Grove. 

Geology:

The waters of Tin Brook partially from the nearby Lake in the James Wollsey Community Park pass through this park area on their way to the Wallkill River.

Facilities:

basketball court; picnic tables by the creek, fancy children's playground, an old railway station

Trails:

12/08/04.  My brother-in-law Cefe and I made a brief drive through the park.  It is a very small park with lots of streams in the area.  There are no trails.  Dr. Patrick L. Cooney.
