3. Millbrook Mountain Loop. Strenuous 5.5 miles. Follow Millbrook Ridge Trail 2.25 miles to Millbrook Mountain. Follow this trail downhill to the junction of the blue-blazed Coxing Valley Trail. The Coxing Valley Trail begins downhill over gently sloping slab rock with great views to the north, then descends into woodlands ending 1.75 miles later at the Trapps Carriage Road. Turn right and follow Carriage Road 1.25 miles to Trapps Bridge.
III. Overcliff and Undercliff Carriage Roads. Easy 4.5 miles. Begin this walk at the Trapps Bridge. Heading east, follow the right fork in the Carriage Road, which will put you on Undercliff Road. At Rhododendron Bridge, make a left turn onto Overcliff Road for the 2.25 mile return to Trapps Bridge. Overcliff provides many nice views of the Rondout Valley, the Catskills and the western ridge of the Shawangunks.
