Town of Marlborough

Ulster County, New York

Consists of two main communities: Marlboro and Milton.  Several of their wineries have been growing grapes and making wine for over a century.

1714  -- the Gomez House, the region's earliest extant documented Jewish Homestead, built when a trading post was established on the site.

early 1700s -- the original vines of the winery Benmart (which holds the earliest New York State vintner's license, number 1) were planted.
