Directions:
From New York City, take Route 80 west to Exit 12. Bear right onto Route 521 north. Go one-half mile and turn right onto Route 608 (Silver Lake-Marksboro Road). Travel 5 miles north to Route 94. Turn right on Route 94 and travel ca. 4.2 miles to Fairview Hill Road, on the left, about 1.1 miles north of the Sussex County border. Take Fairview Hill Road about 1.0 mile to a T-intersection with Fredon-Marksboro Road. Turn right, then left in about 0.2 mile on Dixon Road. Parking area will be on left at bottom of hill.
The name Paulins Kill makes reference to Paulina, daughter of a Hessian soldier.
