History:
1642 -- Johannes Winckelman built near her a 90 foot long fur trading post and farmhouse.
during the 1643 Indian War -- the building was protected by 5 Dutch soldiers.
1643 (September 17) -- the building was attacked and burned to the ground by the Hackensack and Tappan Indians.
This section of Bogota was known as "Winkelman" for many years.
