Trails:

4/20/2005.  Ceferino Santana, dog Sonar and I found this park by serendipity.  We were on our way to Troy Meadows when we saw the parking area and the kiosk.  There is a white-blazed trail that heads east through a shrub-dominated field.  At the gas pipe-line power-cut, the trail turns right for a short distance.  It then goes diagonally across the width of the power-cut to pick up the Patriot's Path.  We made a short deviation from the trail to see a small pond.  It has a lot of water plants with water starwort, smartweeds and water lily among others. The Patriot's Path heads southwest through some light woods to Troy Road (across from a business at 20 Troy Road).  The trail then just keeps on going, turning left on Troy Road.  Dr. Patrick L. Cooney.
