Terhune Park
River Road, Teaneck, Bergen County, NJ

Along the Hackensack River, River Road between Lynn Ct. on the south and Kipp Street on the north.   Just north of the Bogota/Teaneck border.  On the other side of the Hackensack River is Foschini Park. 

A small wooded and open area. 


History:

1745-1962  --  Terhune (French Huguenot) homestead and farm.  The estate of Jacob Terhune is where Terhune Park is today from Oritani Place to Hillcrest Street.  . 

c. 1860  -- main addition to the house.
