Berry's Creek Marsh: Oritani Marsh
Bergen County, NJ

Located in the triangle bordered by the Hackensack River, the New Jersey Transit railroad (Bergen County line), and Berry’s Creek Canal.


Habitats:

tidal giant reed grass marsh, saltmeadow cordgrass stands (uncommon), non-tidal common reed stands, and upland meadows and shrubland.

Tidal areas are drained by mosquito control ditches.
