History:

The land was donated by the Flemer family and Robert M. Englebrecht to the New Jersey Natural Lands Trust in 1988 in memory of John W. Flemer.

Trails:

The trail goes along the east shore of the Delaware and Raritan canal with the State Park's trail path on the other side of the canal. The trail is only on a narrow piece of land sandwiched between the canal on the left and a plateau with residential houses on the right. Pond on right.
