Directions:

3 miles south of Riverhead on the west side of Route 51(Riverhead-Moriches Road); at the junction by Wildwood Lake, the road jogs and goes upward for 1.5 miles; just past the junction with Route 88 (Speonk-Riverhead Road)

Geology:

285 foot summit of Bald Hill from which is a view to Peconic Bay in the east (Westhampton Beach, Brookhaven Laboratory)

Trails:

the path is obscure and there are a lot of paths on which you can get confused as to direction
