US 95 north to exit 18; turn left onto the Sherwood Island Connector; make a right turn onto Greens Farms Road; in a short distance, make a left onto Clapboard Hill; in a short distance take a left turn onto Morningside Drive; drive about 0.2 of a mile and the entrance will be on the right, just past house #83. Park on the left side of the road by house #88. The arboretum is just across the street.
Trails:
There are no trails. This is a wide open space of green lawn with scattered trees and a woods in the back. No worry about getting lost. The area is located between two large houses on either side. There is a strip of woods in the back. After walking around the main part of the arboretum, we went into the woods, turned left and walked up to a small pond with lots of Phragmites (giant reed grass). Turned around and walked back to the car. It's a pretty place even if it is surrounded by large suburban houses. Dr. Patrick L. Cooney.
