Directions:

From the Long Island Expressway, take Exit 56 and travel south on Rte 111 (Wheeler Road) for 5.9 miles to Rte. 27A (Montauk Highway). Turn left (east) onto Rte. 27A and proceed for 0.75 mile. Turn right (south) onto Bayview Avenue. The South Shore Nature Center entrance is 0.8 mile on the right.

South Shore Nature Center Hours: April through October: every day, 9 AM-5PM. November through March: weekdays, 9 AM-5PM. Closed on major holidays.
