Directions:

Take the Long Island Expressway to Exit #44 south (NY 135/Seaford-Oyster Bay Expressway). Go south on the Seaford/Oyster Bay Expressway for 9.8 miles to exit #1W (Merrick Road/Freeport). Go west on Merrick Road for 1.5 miles. The preserve is on the right (north) side of the road.

Open year round daily; admission is free.

This preserve is predominately a lake surrounded by nature walks.
