Directions:

Sunken Meadow Parkway Exit SM5 onto Route 25A westbound. After about 2.5 miles, make a sharp right onto Makamah Road. The park is about 0.5 mile down Makamah Road on your left. Access to this undeveloped Suffolk County park is by permit only; contact Suffolk County Department of Parks at (631)854-4949.

just East of Northport. It is bordered by 25a on the south, Makamah Rd on the east, the Lilco access path on the west and Crab Meadow Golf Course on the North.

Habitats:

woodland, thicket, marsh, streams. The preserve follows a ridge across and down to the tidal wetlands behind Crab Meadow.
