Directions:

1) Western Entrance. Sunrise Highway (State Route 27) east; turn left onto Deerfield Road in Water Mill; keep heading north and cross over Middle Line Highway; still heading north park in the parking area off Deerfield Road (opposite Deerwood Path). There is a kiosk on Deerfield Rd. opposite the entrance to North Side Hills (Deerwood Path). There is room for several cars to park on the shoulder of the road. Or

2) Northern Entrance. From Noyac Road drive turn south onto Wildwood Road and drive farther south to its end where there is another entrance (you can park your car at the end of the road, by the trailhead). Or

3) Southern Entance. Off Middle Lane Highway.


Geology:

During the winter there are views of Peconic Bay.
